3rd ANNOUNCEMENT (Winter Solstice 2005)
Dear Colleagues,
The date of the 14th SEAC2006, 6-10 April, 2006, in Rhodes is getting near.
So far we have received more than 20 Participations with Abstract submission. Several of them have been revised in content, references and / or style.
Our event will take place at a luxurious Hotel in the city of Rhodes (Grand Hotel).
You may visit our web site and surf about the newest updated information provided. There you will find out more on the hosted Hotel, the way for early registration through Eurobank, registration form, and weather condition in Rhodes in April.
The Conference will take place in a superb environment for an exceptionally low fee which covers almost everything while in Rhodes. However, due to limited funding financial support is confounded to exceptional cases with priority to post-grad students.
We urge you to get registered in time and participate in this anticipated unforgettable Rhodean Astronomy in Culture Meeting!
Depending from weather conditions, you may have the chance to watch the starry night with an amateur astronomer’s telescope on the same spot ancient Rhodean astronomers such as, Hipparchus, Appolonius of Rhodes, Posidonius had done!
If you wish to submit your work for publication you may as well submit it during the conference in a CD or Diskete, provided that you follow the Instructions to Authors of our International Journal, Mediterranean Archaeology & Archaeometry (MAA) (www.rhodes.aegean.gr/maa_journal). Maximun length of manuscripts (including everything) with fonds 12’ New Roman is equivalent to 7000 words.

For canceling Participation, while already registered, 70% of the Registration Fee is refunded.
